Pilot Fans ---
We went 1-1 on the weekend as we beat LMU Friday 1-0 and lost to Pepperdine 2-1 on Sunday. On Friday, Dani scored the game winner in the first half by shooting it past the LMU keeper who was caught out of position. The game on Sunday was a little bit more interesting. Micaela scored early in the first half on a great shot that bent over the keeper and just under the crossbar to give us the lead 1-0. Then late in the first half Pepperdine would equalize as they managed to get around our defense and put the ball into the back of the net. Minutes later they would score the go-ahead goal on a questionable penalty kick. The 2-1 score at half would hold through the second half even though each team had a few scoring opportunities.
Moving on to this weekend, we have our final conference game against Gonzaga at 7pm on Saturday night. This game will not be just any game however, it is our senior night so I encourage everyone to make an extra effort to come and support our six seniors.
Since this weekend is all about our seniors, I have decided to make this blog about the seniors by writing down a fun fact about each senior.
Halley Kreminski ---
Halley is really good at drawing and painting. She never talks about it and will deny it if you ask her about it, but one look at any piece of her artwork will be all you need to know that she is really good.
Hailee DeYoung ---
Hailee has very good rhythm which allows her to be a very good dancer. A pregame routine is not complete if Hailee does not break out dancing at least once.
Kassi McCluskie ---
Kassi currently has an obsession with Hello Kitty. Just one step into her room and you would think you were entering a Hello Kitty Museum. My favorite Hello Kitty thing she owns is her Hello Kitty pillow pet.
Emma Nelson ---
Emma has a huge vocabulary that is larger than anyone I have ever met before. One would say it is mammoth, colossal, vast, or even titanic.
Dani Foxhoven ---
Dani is the best story teller…ever. A team gathering is not complete unless Dani tells a couple of stories.
Michelle Olivier ---
MO never wears matching socks. One day one of her socks was neon green and dark grey and the other sock was navy blue and orange argyle.
Well I hope you learned something new about each of our seniors and I hope you come out to support them on Saturday.
Until next week,
Dees
P.S. I would like to wish my grandmother a happy birthday! She will be turning 90 this Sunday.
