BOSTON, Mass. --- Senior Tansey Lystad placed fourth in the 5000-meter race at the Boston University Indoor Track Season Opener on Saturday, Dec. 6.
 
There were 12 runners in the race and Lystad crossed the line just behind runners from Wisconsin, Providence, and Boston College to set a personal record with a time of 15:51.12.
 
"Tansey ran another phenomenal race to cap off an amazing fall," said women's cross country coach Ian Solof. "Not only did she run a 31-second PR and break the school record, she also ran a time that should definitely qualify her for the NCAA Indoor meet in March. She has really made a jump to being a national level runner who can compete with nearly anyone."
