EUGENE, Ore--- Sunshine filled the sky and fans filed in to pack Hayward Field on a beautiful Saturday for the Oregon Preview. The Pilots posted a handful of seasons best and quality performances throughout the day.

Katherine Maus tied her own mark for the school record in the triple jump with a hop, skip, and a jump of 11.57 meters. She placed third in the triple jump, and fourth in the long jump with a 5.49-meter bound.

Matt Chastain tied his outdoor triple jump PR of 13.95, good for eighth all time on Portland's outdoor top-ten list. He finished third in the event.

In the men's long jump, Nathan DeVaughn had a season's best of 6.67 meters. Matt Wintered finished tied for third in the high jump with a mark of 2.02 meters.

Posting a solid PR in the men's 800-meter run was Kent Nowak with a 1:53.95. His mark was 10
th on the day.

Anne Luijten placed sixth in the fast section of the women's 3,000-meter run with a 9:39. Tansey Lystad (9:46.30), Merel van Steenbergen (9:47.60), and Natasha Verma (9:58.38) were also in the race, placing 10
th, 11
th, and 13

The B section of the men's 1,500-meter run featured five Pilots. Danny Martinez led the way with a 3:56.4, and Alex Dillard finished right behind with a PR of 3:56.47. Connor Whan (3:58.00), Justin Rocereto (3:59.03), and Ben Forsee (4:01.48) rounded out the group.

Three Pilots were featured in the men's 2,000-meter steeplechase. Stephen Kersh finished sixth in the race with a PR of 5:56.25. Andy Holstrom had a 10-second PR in the event and finished 11
th with a 6:06.63. At 15
th place was Nick Shindler with a 6:26.51.
