Complete Results (PDF)EUGENE, Ore--- The Oregon Twilight was the penultimate regular-season competition for most Pilots, and they made the most of their opportunity. Friday night in Eugene, school records were set and personal records were bested under a sheet of rain and aggravating wind.

Kaylie Van Loo continued her incredible performance in the women's javelin and improved on her school records with a throw of 158'0". She had three throws over her previous mark of 152'0" during the meet.

In the women's 800-meter, Lorea Ibarazabal set a personal-best time of 2:08.36 en route to a heat win. The Pilot women continued their middle-distance success in the last section of the 1,500-meter, where Tansey Lystad placed sixth in a personal-best of 4:21.38; Julia Fonk was 10
th in 4:25.97; and Sanna Mustonen ran her personal-best of 4:30.34.

In a loaded 800-meter field, Kent Nowak was pulled to a lifetime personal-best in the event. His mark of 1:52.46 puts him just shy of making the all-time top-10 record book at Portland.

Melissa Baller ran her personal-best and the fourth-fasted time in Portland history in the women's 200-meter. Her time of 25.56 won her heat, as well.

Another school record was set in the women's triple jump when Katherine Maus compiled a mark of 38'11.5". With her jump, she won the heat and holds the school record.

The Pilots wrap up their regular season next Thursday at the West Coast Invitational at Willamette University in Salem, Ore.
