Full ResultsSALEM, Ore--- The West Coast Invitational has become synonymous with personal bests and beautiful weather, and last night was no different. Hosted by the University of Portland at the Charles Bowles Stadium at Willamette University, this meet serves as the last regular season race for most West Coast Conference schools.

Katherine Maus won the triple jump for the second time in as many meets, and she set a new school record in the process. Her jump of 39' 3.75" bettered her previous school record by just over four inches. She was not finished there, though. Maus also ran the 100-meter dash and won the race in 12.62, a mark good for fifth on the all-time Portland record list.

On the men's side of the triple jump was Matt Chastain. He closed out his senior campaign with a victory and personal-best mark of 46'11.5". He now ranks sixth on the all-time list.

Shane Fekete dipped under 50-seconds in the 400-meter for the first time in his career. He was second in the race and ran 49.84 to set his personal-best.

David Perry placed second overall in the men's 1,500-meter while running a personal-best of 3:45.61. His sights are set on making it to the NCAA Championships in the 10,000-meter later this month.

"It was just for fun, just a tune-up to get ready for the Regional 10K," said Perry. "It was a business trip."

Justin Rocereto (3:55.44) and Connor Whan (3:56.02) were two more Pilots to set new personal-bests in the 1,500-meter. Rocereto snagged the victory in the second heat of the race.

In the women's 5000-meter, Tansey Lystad and Sanna Mustonen finished fourth and fifth. Lystad ran just off her personal-best with a 16:25.86, and Mustonen was four seconds behind her in 16:29.64.

Alex Bowns ran faster than he ever has in the men's 5000-meter with a mark of 14:24.10. Racing unattached was freshman Keegan Symmes, he ran a personal-best of 14:35.52.
