Complete USTFCCCA Men's ReleaseComplete USTFCCCA Women's ReleasePORTLAND, Ore. --- Nine University of Portland student-athletes were recognized as Division I Track & Field All-Academic honorees, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced. To be considered, student-athletes had to have qualified for the NCAA Prelimary Round Championships and earned a 3.25 grade-point average or higher.

The three Pilot men recognized were senior business major Charlie McDonald (3.59 GPA), redshirt junior education major Scott Fauble (3.35 GPA), and freshman business major Timo Goehler (3.66 GPA).

The six Pilot women are redshirt senior communication major Gina Paletta (3.61 GPA), redshirt junior psychology major Julia Fonk (3.83 GPA), redshirt junior sociology major Merel van Steenbergen (3.87 GPA), sophomore mechanical engineering major Lorea Ibarzabal (3.62 GPA), sophomore sociology major Anne Luijten (3.97 GPA), and sophomore business major Kaylie Van Loo (3.73 GPA).
