Complete WCC ReleaseSAN BRUNO, Calif. --- Portland volleyball sophomore Morgan Robinson received 2015 West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention honors as announced by the WCC on Wednesday. This is Robinson's first WCC All-Academic award.

The Sunnyvale, Calif. native made the switch to defensive specialist this year and appeared in 57 of a total 66 sets during WCC play for the Pilots. During those sets she recorded 161 digs for a 2.82 digs per set average. She was consistent at the serving line earning13 service aces on just four service errors.

Robinson continues a six year streak of a Pilot receiving a WCC All-Academic honor.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
