PORTLAND, Ore. – A weekly Terry Porter Radio Show featuring the new University of Portland men's basketball head coach will launch tonight and extend throughout the 2016-17 season. Tonight's show will be produced at the Pilot House on the UP campus and aired live on 910 ESPN-Portland (KMTT) from 7-8 p.m., while all other weekly shows are scheduled to be on 1080 The Fan (KFXX). Play-by-play voice of the Pilots Jason Swygard will serve as host of the show.

Tonight's program will recap Portland's exhibition wins over Multnomah and Evergreen, while looking ahead to Friday's regular season opener at the Chiles Center against UC Riverside.

910 ESPN-Portland is the home of Portland basketball for the fourth straight season. All Pilot games will be aired on the station will a 30-minute pre-game show and complete post-game coverage.

Portland returns five of its top six scorers from last year's team including All-West Coast Conference senior point guard Alec Wintering. The Pilots were picked eighth in the WCC Preseason Poll and will play a challenging non-conference schedule that includes an opening round game against UCLA the Wooden Legacy in Anaheim, Calif., a home game against Colorado, and neutral site matchup with Oregon State.
