STOCKTON, Calif. – Senior Michail Pervolarakis pulled out his third consecutive three set victory on Saturday and has advanced to the quarterfinals of ITA Northwest Regionals for the second consecutive season. Pervolarakis defeated Timothy Sah of Stanford by a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 and will now move on to face Cal's Jacob Brumm on Sunday at noon.

Pervolarakis is the tournament's No. 2 seed and ranked No. 95 nationally. Last year he reached the semifinals and is looking to duplicate that run this weekend. Brumm is the No. 8 overall seed and has yet to drop a set in the tournament. The winner will move on to a 3 PM semifinals matchup on Sunday.

Junior Carlos Donat joined Pervolarakis in the Round of 16 on Saturday, but was knocked out in straight sets by the No. 5 seed from Cal, Jack Malloy. It ended an impressive three-match win streak for Donat, who was making his first appearance this fall.

Senior Pierre Garcia and freshman Tom Hann teamed to reach the Round of 16 in doubles and faced Paul and Dominic Barretto of Cal on Saturday morning. The match went to a tiebreaker where the Barretto's were able to pull out the win and advance.

Hann improved to 3-1 in singles play at the tournament with a 6-4, 7-6 win against Robert Seby of Santa Clara in consolation play. He will take on Mert Zincirli of San Francisco on Sunday to close out his tournament.

Action continues on Sunday with both main draw and consolation action. The tournament finals are scheduled to be played on Monday.

Last year, the Pilots also had a strong performance at ITA Regionals with four players reaching the Round of 32. Portland joined Cal as the only two programs with multiple quarterfinalists as Mathieu Garcia reached the quarters and Pervolarakis was a semifinalist.
