Men's Hoops Foreign Tour Preview
PORTLAND, Ore. – Catch an all-new episode of 'Portside with the Pilots' tonight at 9 p.m. live on CSN Northwest. The weekly show looks into all things Pilots and will feature a look back at a successful weekend of soccer and volleyball on The Bluff, while previewing the week ahead.
Special features include a behind-the-scenes look at the Pilot men's basketball team's foreign tour to England in August. Host Adam Linnman also sits down with reigning West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Coach of the Year Nick Carlin-Voigt to discuss his team's hot start and bright future.
The women's basketball team talks about the importance of helping those in need as they do their part in sending donations down to the Houston area in response to Hurricane Harvey.
Merlo Field is widely considered one of the top soccer pitches in the nation, find out how one UP staffer was recognized for keeping it in such pristine condition.
Current New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles also returned to his alma mater to give some words of wisdom to the Pilot men's soccer team.
'Portside' will air each Wednesday at 9 p.m. from September through May, with occasional adjustments made due to programming conflicts. The 30-minute program, produced by the Portland Sports Network on campus, was previously aired on a monthly basis since the fall of 2015.
