SEATTLE, Wash. --- Four Pilots moved up the UP All-Time Indoor Records list, while over half posted new personal records in their respective events to conclude the final day of MPSF Championships, in the Dempsey Indoor.
In the men's mile, senior Jeff Thies (4:03.13) placed third overall to move up to fifth all-time and junior Trent Mazelli won his heat to break into the mile records, tying UP alum Scott Fauble's time of 4:07.54.
Sophomore Emmanuel Roudolff-Levisse also ran an impressive indoor 3000m debut, placing fifth overall at the meet to tie alum Ryan Poland's time of 7:57.15, at third all-time in the UP record books. Junior Logan Orndorf (8:01.88) crossed the line just behind Roudolff-Levisse in 9
th to also break into the records at seventh all-time.
"Another terrific job by the team today," said men's head coach Rob Conner. "We definitely picked up where we left off on Friday. We got several big pr's and the even the guys doubling back after the 5000 ran great."
Senior Matt Welch and sophomore Caleb Webb also ran notable 3000m races both placing first in their heat with times of 8:05.49 and 8:14.05, respectively. Welch's time was a new personal record, but was just shy of the 10

"Our 3k runners did a nice job with lots of PRs and Maddy Lyons impressed me in the mile," said women's head coach Ian Solof. "We look forward to starting the outdoor season next weekend."
Almost all the women who ran in the mile also set new prs, led by sophomores Maddy Lyons (5:00.41) and Natalie Smith (5:04.82) who crossed the line third and sixth in their heat.
The Pilots will next begin their outdoor track season at the Linfield Icebreaker on March 3.
