NATIONAL TEAM: A native of the Netherlands, Smeulders has been an active member of the Dutch Senior National Team since the summer of 2007 … also a member of the Dutch Under-18 and Under-20 National Teams ... participated with the U-18 squad at the 2005 European Championships ... member of the U-20 squad at the 2006 and 2007 European Championships … led the U-20 Dutch National Team at the 2007 FIBA European Championships in July … finished the tournament by averaging 11.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in six games.
CLUB TEAM: Played with SG Braunschweig of the 2nd Bundesliga from 2000-06 under head coach Liviu Calin ...
