Sophomore Alfred Kipchumba qualified for the NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships in the men’s 10,000-meter run and junior Cori Moore advanced to the quarterfinals of the women’s 800-meter run at the NCAA West Preliminary held at Mike A. Myers Stadium on Thursday night. Four University of Portland runners will travel to Austin, Texas for the NCAA West Preliminary Round Track and Field Championships scheduled for May 27-29 at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
