For more than fifteen years, the Pilot Club has existed to support University of Portland athletics. Over the years dedicated Pilot fans have played a valuable role in helping our student-athletes learn to be successful both in competition and in the classroom.
Our goal is to support student-athletes by providing financial scholarship support. A full scholarship to the University of Portland for the 2007-08 academic year (tuition, room and board, and books) is $27,500.
Your membership in the Pilot Club directly helps the University of Portland attract top athletes to help carry on the rich tradition of success that exists on The Bluff.
METHODS OF GIVING
Membership: Usually Pilot Club gifts are personal checks, but gifts of stock, life insurance, real estate, and planned gifts (including wills and bequests) are welcome.
Matching Gifts: Many employers have programs that match contributions to intercollegiate athletics. The Pilot Club qualifies for many of these corporate matching-gift programs, so please check to see if your company qualifies. If so, simply obtain a matching gift form (usually from the personnel office) and send it in with your contribution to the University.
Gifts in Kind: Contributions of equipment are accepted and qualify for Pilot Club membership and charitable deductions.
