The Portland Pilots shot a final round 304 amid windy weather conditions to move up one spot and finish fifth at the West Coast Conference Men’s Golf Championships hosted by Chambers Bay Golf Course. The Pilots finished at 905 (+41) at the par 72, 7,164-yard course. Sophomore Terence Macatangay led the way individually in a tie for seventh place at 6-over par 222, after firing a final round 73.

Freshman Justin Smithhisler shot a 3-over par 147 to lead the Portland Pilots after day one of the West Coast Conference Men’s Golf Championships hosted by Chambers Bay Golf Course. The Pilots finished at 601 (+25) and are alone in sixth place after 36 holes. The final round will be played on Tuesday at the par 72, 7,164-yard course.

CRESWELL, Ore. --- Senior Joel Johnson tied for 15th individually to lead the Pilots to a seventh place finish at the Oregon Duck Invitational, which concluded at the Emerald Valley Golf Club on Tuesday. Johnson fired a six-over par 222 during the 54-hole tournament on the par 72 course.

FRESNO, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots played their best golf of the spring by combining for a three-over par 867 at the Fresno State Lexus Classic, which concluded on Tuesday at the Fort Washington Country Club. The Pilots tied for 10th place, but were only five strokes out of fifth place.

BEAUMONT, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots combined for the third lowest score during the final round to tie for 11th place overall at the Braveheart Classic, which concluded at the Oak Valley Golf Club on Tuesday. All five Pilots shot a 77 or better during the final round of the three-round, 54-hole tournament to give Portland a 298.
