Bio: Markey has been at the University of Portland for six years, spending time with men's soccer, women's basketball and women's tennis. In addition to working for the Pilots, Markey has been a part of US soccer for seven years, covering national team camps, as well as working with Rhino Lacrosse.
She obtained her master's degree from Portland State University in health studies, exercise and physical activity, and received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Kansas.
Amidst her busy schedule, Markey finds time to teach the next generation of athletic trainers, leading classes at every stop along her career. She also does continuing education in kinesiology taping techniques to local physical therapy and massage schools.
In 2012, she took part in the FIFA 11 Research Study: Participating Athletic Trainer in the ACL Prevention research study, which was conducted on collegiate men's soccer players.
In addition to her athletic trainer certification, she is a member of the College Athletic Trainers Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is kinesio tape 3 certified.
Formerly Amber Eubanks, she married Anthony Markey during the summer of 2018. She has a stepson named Greyson.
