PORTLAND, Ore. – With a berth to the NCAA Cross Country Championships at stake, the Portland Pilots will go head-to-head with twenty-eight men’s and women’s teams this Saturday at the Springfield Country Club for the NCAA Division I West Regional Championships. The No. 7 Pilot men are fresh off winning their 31st consecutive West Coast Conference championship.

Cross Country Teams Ready for Bill Dellinger Invite
PORTLAND, Ore. --- The University of Portland men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete at the 2009 Bill Dellinger Invitational on Friday at Springfield Country Club. The meet features a total of eight nationally ranked teams in both the men’s and women’s fields. The women’s race (5K) will start at 3:30 p.m. and the men’s race (8K) begins at 4:15 p.m. Admission is free.

Pilots Perform at Pier Park
PORTLAND, Ore. --- Senior Lyndy Davis captured the individual win while teammates sophomore Elizabeth Keaveny, freshman Molly Mitchell and sophomore Shane Geiger all had top-five finishes to lead the University of Portland men’s and women’s cross country teams at the West Coast Preview Meet, hosted by UP at Pier Park.
