A crowd of 4,102 turned out and cheered on the No. 5 Portland Pilots to a 2-0 win over the Southern Methodist Mustangs Friday night at Merlo Field at the Clive Charles Soccer Complex. Freshman Micaela Capelle and junior Danielle Foxhoven provided the second half goals and freshman goalkeeper Erin Dees logged her second shutout of the season for the Pilots.

The No. 5 Portland Pilots will look to extend remain unbeaten this year as they return to Merlo Field at the Clive Charles Soccer Complex to host SMU and No. 21 Oklahoma State this weekend. The Pilots and Mustangs meet on Friday at 7 p.m., while UP and OSU will kickoff on Sunday at noon. Both games will have free live video, audio and live stats at Portland’s new GameCentral server.
