Women's Cross Country Picked Second in WCC Preseason Poll

SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots were picked second in the West Coast Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, released on Thursday by the WCC. Junior Lyndy Davis was Portland’s lone representative on the WCC Preseason All-Conference Team.
Portland received 41 points and a first-place vote, trailing only defending conference champion San Francisco (48). The Pilots will look to add to their league-high xx total WCC titles with the return of two key redshirts in seniors Dana Morgan and Natalie Hemphill.
The Portland cross country teams will open the 2010 season at the John Frank Memorial Invitational in Corvallis, Ore. on Sept. 3 and then host the annual Pier Park Invitational on Friday, Sept. 10 in Portland.
