PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland junior defender Kendall Johnson was named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Team of the Season Third Team, which was announced on Wednesday. Johnson, a native of Portland and a graduate of Lincoln High School, was also named the WCC’s Defensive Player of the Year.
Johnson started 19 games at left back for the Pilots and registered three goals, five assists and a game-winner on the season. She helped the Pilots post eight shutouts and advance to the NCAA post-season for the 13th consecutive season.
Johnson also landed on the All-WCC First Team, and she earned conference all-academic first-team honors this fall.
