Women's Hoops Blog: Entry #1

Pilot Fans,
Sarah Griffin (or “G”), here. For those of you who do not know me, I am a senior, ex-Pilot hooper. I manage the team’s social media presence and when the season arrives you can catch me on portlandpilots.com doing play-by-play/color commentary for home games.
Anyway, I just wanted to give you all a heads up that the Women’s Hoop Blog is back in action! Like last year, we will not have a designated blogger. We will rotate blogging duties so you will have the opportunity to hear from different players and learn a little bit about the each of them.
I’ve actually already learned a lot more about Amy, CB, Elyse and Cassie since school has started because I am living with them this year. What I have found most fascinating though is the amount of food that CB consumes. Yes, I know it is hard to believe, but the slender guard has a hefty appetite. For instance, when I returned home from class the other night, CB was enjoying Rice Krispies Treats. Shortly after this she had a bag of chips and then a package of Fruity Snacks to conclude her post-dinner snack session. But, I guess she could afford to indulge because she then spent the remainder of the night douging in the living room.
And… believe it or not, CB is pestering me this very minute to go to the Anchor (on-campus café) with her to get dessert – and I can’t resist!!
