Pilot Baseball Home Opener Rained Out; Doubleheader Scheduled for Saturday

PORTLAND, Ore. --- Friday's scheduled baseball game between the Portland Pilots and Utah Valley Wolverines at Joe Etzel Field has been rained out. The weekend series will be re-shuffled with a Saturday double header beginning at 10 a.m. and Sunday's series finale set for 12 p.m.

The Pilots (1-4) are coming off of a win at Seattle on Tuesday after dropping a season opening series at No. 5 Mississippi State. The Wolverines (1-3) finished the 2012 season 47-12 overall and won 40 of their last 41 games to close out the season.
