Fun in the Sun in Gran Canaria

After Thursday's victory over CB Select the team was rewarded with a boat trip excursion and lots of water activities on Friday here in Gran Canaria. After an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the hotel, we boarded a bus and headed to the local port to jump on one of the daytime cruises which left at about noon. After about an hour ride we reached our primary destination which allowed for snorkeling, swimming, cliff diving, banana boat rides, cave tours and parasailing. Needless to say, there were plenty of fun activities to keep everyone busy and having fun.

At about 3 PM the boat headed to its next destination where lunch was served and a school of fish circled the boat for the snorkeling diehards. The boat headed back to port and everyone returned to the hotel without too devastating of sun burns (except David Carr).

The guys couldn't get enough time in the water and spent another hour at the hotel pool before heading off for a light shooting practice at 7 PM. We just finished up another fantastic dinner and the plan is to get some rest with back-to-back games coming up Saturday and Sunday night.
