PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots women's cross country team signed Camila Noe, Grace Ritchie, and Ellee Becker last Wednesday on NLI Day. Ritichie will be the first to arrive out of the three in January, while Noe and Becker will join the Pilots on the Bluff in the fall of 2018.

Noe, who hails out of Bozeman, Mont., most recently won the NXR (Nike Cross Regional) Northwest meet which qualifies her for NXN (Nike Cross Nationals) in December. The future Pilot finished first in the women's 5k Championship with a time of 17:13.47. Noe also won the MHSA AA State XC Championships this year, and placed second in state in 2016. She holds a personal record of 5:01 in the 1600m and 10:26.05 in the 3200m.

"Camila is a big-time recruit who can make an immediate impact and we are thrilled to have her join us," said head coach Ian Solof. Â "She has NXN championship experience and very impressive track times. She is a true distance/cross country runner who will fit in great here."

Ritchie, a decorated recruit from New Zealand, won the silver medal at the Youth Women 5k New Zealand Championships in 2015, and the bronze medal in the Women's U18 division in 2016. Ritichie also has personal records of 4:43.91 in the 1500m, 17:51.74 in the 5000m, and 1:25.26 in the half marathon.

"I'm excited to have Grace join us in January," said Solof. "She is especially strong in cross country and having the spring semester to train and adjust will be a huge boost when we get to the fall season."

Becker is a native of Missoula, Mont., is the final Pilot to make up the incoming class. She placed sixth at the 2016 MHSA AA State XC Championships and 47
th at the NXR Northwest Regional Championships this past year. She also has personal records of 18:55.4 in the 5000m and 5:12.81 in the 1600m.

"Ellee is a tough runner with a lot of potential," said Solof. "I think she will be a great fit and I can see her developing into a strong D1 runner in the future."
