The easiest way to avoid an NCAA rules violation is to ask a coach or staff member before you enter into any situation. Involvement in a rules violation can have serious effects on individual and team eligibility and scholarship aid. Protect yourself, the athletes, and the department by talking to coaches, sports administrators, or the Compliance Office whenever a question arises.
