BOOOOOOO!
I just love fall, coming from Arizona where it is a desert, these past three years I have fallen in love with this new season that I have discovered. The leaves changing colors, having the sun out but getting that cool breeze every once in a while and having hot chocolate regularly just puts the biggest smile on my face :)
In the spirit of October and getting ready for the holiday the team took a trip to the pumpkin patch last week during break! It is always fun watching everyone look for what they believe is the "perfect" pumpkin. Ellen always goes for the biggest one she can find and of course it is always a far walk, so watching her carry her pumpkin always gives us a good laugh! Sippy was the pumpkin whisperer, she knocked on all of our pumpkins and listened to tell us if they were good or not. After leaving the patch we came back and started decorating them. We always have the carvers and then we have the painters. We sat around for hours first deciding what to do and then taking our time to do them because for our team it gets kind of serious. Here are some examples of what the team came up with this year!
After coming out with a win last Saturday night we will be back on the field this Thursday night against USD at 6 p.m., and then Saturday night against BYU at 7 p.m. The BYU game will be our Breast Cancer Awareness night and we ask you, if you could, to wear pink to support the fight against breast cancer and to honor all of those who are or who have been affected by women's cancers.
I urge everyone to come out to the game's this weekend as conference continues and cheer us on as we are looking to continue our nine-game winning streak! I hope to see you there! MerloMadness 2000Strong
